Diorama is the fourth studio album by the Australian alternative rock band, Silverchair, released on 31 March 2002. It was recorded between May and November 2001 in Sydney and produced by Daniel Johns and David Bottrill. The album saw Silverchair shift away from their grunge roots and embrace a more experimental, orchestral sound. It features prominent use of string arrangements and electronic elements, as well as several guest musicians.
The album received critical acclaim upon release and debuted at number one on the Australian charts. It spawned three singles - "The Greatest View", "Without You" and "Luv Your Life". The band toured extensively in support of the album, including a large-scale orchestral tour in 2003.
Overall, Diorama represents an important and successful evolution in Silverchair's sound and remains a fan-favorite to this day.
